Miranda Gray is a Reiki master, artist, writer and healer from the United Kingdom. Currently (before the pandemic) she travels around the world providing workshops and initiations.
Through her books and trainings, she provides tools so that we can live in harmony with our cycle in this modern world that does not give us much room to the full expression of our feminine energies.
She was a graphic designer but as time went by, she began to perceive that at certain times in her cycle her drawings were perfect and at other times she found it difficult to focus on details. This is how she began to investigate female energy in folklore and mythology.
She created the first Womb Blessing in 2012. She sent an invitation to twenty friends from different parts of the world to receive it and that in turn they could invite more women who might be interested. The message traveled and spread, of those first twenty invitations at the end, around 6000 women from 80 countries participated. The result of the first Worldwide Womb Blessing® energy delivery was more successful than she thought, and many women began to connect with Miranda to learn how to give the Blessing to other women. Responding to this call, Miranda began to travel to different countries to give workshops and initiate women in techniques. Thus, the first Moon Mothers were born.
We are currently around 6000 Moon Mothers around the world, although the number is constantly growing as Miranda and her initiated teachers constantly travel facilitating workshops to initiate more women.
The energies and gifts of these archetypes are expressed in the four stages of a woman's life and in the four phases of the menstrual cycle. At the same time, they are related to the phases of the moon and the seasons of the earth. As women we are very connected to the energies of the Earth and the Moon.
- The Star, located deep in the brain, which regulates our hormones and the amount of spiritual light that we can sustain.
- The Chalice located in the heart, relates to our breasts and our hands and supports abundance and generosity, self-love and unconditional love.
- The Cauldron, which rests in our womb and our lower abdomen, is the center of our relationship with the earth, the world, intimacy, creativity, sexuality and feminine spirituality.
