Preovulatory phase. Spring. Crescent Moon. Thinking Mind.
Maiden is my dominant archetype, the one that I have always feel comfortable with. It took me a long time to realize that I was three women more and not just the dominant maiden.
Thanks to maiden I have achieved everything I proposed in my life.
It was my maiden that made me finishing all my studies. The one that made me an independent woman and took me to work in Patagonia and Antarctica, the lover of freedom, nature and hiking. The one that could travel alone without fears.
Maiden does not have fears, is confident. She knows she can, no matter what, she accomplishes her dreams and goals because she has the power, the strength and intellect to do it.
Today I just give thanks to her for everything. Even thought I had to learn that I wasn’t just her and teach her that life isn’t just work, nor professional success or achieving daily and weekly goals. Life is more than that, as we are just more than maidens. Thanks to our cycle we have her energy every month but it is important that she doesn’t take over the roles of the other three women that we are (read other archetypes).
Do you also have a dominant maiden or is it a sleepy one?
How are the energies of the maiden?
The preovulatory phase, archetype of the maiden is the more active moment in our cycle. The one with the most physical strength, dynamism, good intellect. It’s the equivalent in mother earth to the spring and the crescent moon. WE THINK.
We have a lot of energy; it is the renaissance after being hibernating during our menstruation.
It is the best moment of our cycle to:
Make math, accounts, reports. Think about our goals and any other kind of task that requires mental skills. Everything that has to be exact, numbers, planification. It’s the best time to practice any physical activity. Go out, have fun, start a new diet or anything new, leave a bad habit too. It is the best time to go out, connect with the exterior world and concrete our goals. We are confident to achieve anything we want. This doesn’t mean that you can´t do any of these things in our other phases, it’s just that probably you won´t feel like a lot or might be more difficult to do than in this phase.
