The Womb (if you have it physically or not) is the female energetic center, is our power center. Our connection with Mother Earth energies. It is also the spiritual home of the feminine soul. It connects us with the earth and the moon, with the material and spiritual world.

The womb is like our second heart, when our womb is connected to the earth we feel complete, centered and balanced.

We normally think that its only function is to serve as the femenine reproductive organ and to be the place to host a baby during a pregnancy, but its functions are much more than that.

Together with the ovaries, the womb is our creative center, not just of another life. It is also related with pleasure but not only genital. It also regulates hormons.

As Miranda Gray says, lets think our womb as a crock or pot full of vital energy, a cauldron.

It has the size of a pear and the skinniest part is insert in the vagina. When we menstruate our womb grows three times its size.

Its formed by muscle fiber that all together form something like a big net.

Its formed by the cervix or “the neck of the womb” that its located at the end of the vaginal canal. There are located the cervical crypts that are the ones that generate the fluids. The cervix changes its height according to the phase of the cycle where we are, it opens to menstruate, when we ovulate and when we give birth. You can feel it yourself, sometimes it is like a little ball or nose, soft or hard depending on which moment of your cycle you are.

The fallopian tubes aren’t connected with the ovaries, there is a fiber tissue that hold them. Its along them that the fertilized egg moves toward the womb. Inside of them is where the egg meets with the sperm, its there where life is conceived.
